Welcome to the Mine Electrical Safety Conference WA (MESC WA) 2024. 

After the success of the 2019, 2022 and the 2023 conferences, Mine Electrical Safety Association Inc (MESA Inc) Western Australia Committee (with the support of Mine Electrical Safety Association Queensland Committee) welcomes those working in the Western Australia mine electrical safety community to attend this year's conference.

Just like the Mine Electrical Safety Conference WA 2019, 2022 and 2023 (MESC WA) and the Queensland Mine Electrical Safety Conferences, the 2024 MESC WA Conference will bring together government departments, consultants, suppliers and key industry decision makers within the electrical field to hear technical presentations on all matters relating to electrical safety within the mining industry with specific focus on the Western Australia industry.

The Queensland Mine Electrical Safety Association (MESA) Inc was formed more than 34 years ago with the goal of promoting electrical safety in the mining industry.

MESA continues to lead the way in the industry with the focus on safety.  Since its inception, MESA has been an important leader in bringing together the working face of the industry, suppliers and consultants with government departments and key industry decision makers.  This collaboration has the goal of identifying electrical safety problems and, by consultation, provide information with a view to improving safety and productivity.

MESA values safety greatly and is continuously looking to improve workplaces for those involved in the mining industry.

MESA is proud to lead the way in industry education focussing on mine electrical safety and strongly believes in the benefits of meeting face-to-face to learn, network and share knowledge on how the industry is performing along with ways to improve workplace safety and reduce harm.
